4 More of our favourite Restaurant addresses in the Luberon.

Le Quai du Jardin

Le Quai du Jardin, Isle sur la Sorgue

Le Quai du Jardin is two restaurants at the same address a bistron (L'Atelier du Jardin) and a gourmet restaurant, Le Quai du Jardin. Here you will eat fresh, seasonal typpically Provençcal products, in a beautiful setting. In summer we love to have lunch outside, in the cool of the shaded garden. For an impromptu, rather informal meal, we recommend L'Atelier. For a more elaborate meal, if you have a bit more time, the Quai du Jardin is perfect. We advise you to go Saturday, Sunday or Monday, when the antique dealers in Isle sur la Sorgue will be open.

Le Domaine Les Davids

Domaine Les Davids, Viens

This is a great address. Not only is it a lovely spot for lunch, but it is an interesting winery to visit. Although the winery and cellar are very modern, new builds, the vinyard dates back for centuries. The juxtaposition of a very modern, concrete building against the backdrop of rolling Luberon hills and rows and rows of vines, is strikig.

The menu is small, but good. Fresh, local food, with an interseting twist, a free wine tasting before or after, on a huge terrace with an amazing view. What's not to love?

Café les Valseuses

Café les Valseuses

This is a more relaxed vibe, great for lunch, particularly on a Saturday, after the weekly market in Apt.

This place is always booked out (always a good sign) so it's essential to book ahead. They have a fixed menu of good, healthy, interesting food, which they post every week on Instagram and on a blackboard in front of the café.

Also a good place for a cofé or a drink earlier on, if you are lucky enough to find a table.

a hotel in Provence
Hotel les Voyageurs

L'Hôtel Restaurant Les Voyageurs, Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt

Eating at this restaurant is like stepping back in time. Run by an elderly couple, with aging decor, a traditional menu, a beautiful shaded terrace, this is old Provence at it's best. A traditional menu, good food, cooked well, all in all a lovely night out, if you like the old world vibe.
